One of those statements that has often made us smile is when you show a friend or work colleague some photos that you're particularly pleased with and they respond with 'You must have a good camera.'

Well, okay, we do. Or, we do now (some of these were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 2100 but the majority with a Nikon D40 - the camera used is clearly marked below). But it'd be nice from time to time to get the reaction 'That's a good picture - you take a decent photograph.'

Here are a selection of the ones we've been particularly satisfied with over the years - although there are a few in here simply because we remember the day when we took them.
